I've been trying to set aside some time to work on the photo book I'm making for my grandmother. Going through all the old photos is great, the ones my grandfather took in the Middle East during the Second World War are really interesting especially as they are of places I went to in my travels.This photo is not quite so old. It's of my mother and me in 1969. I really like this photo, something about it makes me happy. I love the way my Mum looks in her sixties dress and bag. As my baby approaches her 9th birthday (gasp!) it gets me thinking about mums and daughters, and about what a great job my mum did. Thanks Mum!

What a beautiful photo. You can really see how much you mean to your mum. I love photos like that. I have just found your blog and think the stuff you do is lovely. I hopefully will be reading more of your life in the Blue Mountains.
